ACCOMMODATION STATISTICS

This information is collected within Accommodation Establishments; it specifies the number of accommodation establishments themselves, their types, number of rooms and space available, occupancy rate, revenue accrued and the employment figures. This type of data is collected quarterly from all accommodation establishments within the country. To this end, this is the only information that is being used to estimate how much the tourism sector contributes in the economic growth.
